Meet our Executive Chef Jamie Huynh
Bringing fourteen years of experience, Executive Chef Jamie Huynh has reimagined the dining experience at Veneto. After studying in Vancouver at the start of his career, Chef Jamie refined his culinary skills at Hawksworth Restaurant, Farmer’s Apprentice, and Clayoquot Wilderness Resort. He further developed his love for fresh, local, and seasonal produce through travels in Japan, Southeast Asia, and Australia. Now he has embraced our Venetian roots and created a Northern Italian inspired menu using the best ingredients Victoria has to offer. Always conscious of everything that comes into the kitchen, Chef Jamie continually asks: how can we support people who are doing good in our industry?
Meet our Restaurant Manager Jason Dulmage
Originally from Ottawa, Jason has worked in hospitality for almost a decade. Jason knew at a young age that he would end up in restaurants. He admired the fast pace, the strong bonds between staff, and the ability to make everything look so smooth during the most stressful times. After several years in New Zealand at Cloudy Bay Vineyards, he made his way to the Summerhill Pyramid Winery and Delta Grand Okanagan in Kelowna. Now he brings his straightforward attitude and high standards to the Veneto dining room.
