The Commercial Building Awards were started in 1991 by a group of REALTORS® who were concerned that commercial development within the Greater Victoria area was not receiving the recognition it deserved. This prestigious competition is dedicated to the advancement of excellence in commercial property development.
The Hallmark Heritage Society is the oldest heritage preservation society in the Capital Regional District - Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. It was formed as the Hallmark Society in 1973. The name was changed in 2011 to better reflect the work of the society.
The British Columbia Heritage Award is conferred annually by the Minister responsible for heritage in the province of British Columbia. The award recognizes an individual whose long term leadership and contributions to the conservation and presentation of British Columbia's heritage have been exemplary.
